A Guide To Improving Your Self Esteem

do you agree or disagree with the opinions in the article? why and why not.?

Question by Mai Tran: do you agree or disagree with the opinions in the article? why and why not.?
Put me in charge of food stamps. I’d get rid of these welfare credit cards; no cash for Ding Dongs or Ho Ho’s, just money for 50-pound bags of rice and beans, blocks of cheese and all the powdered milk you can haul away. If you want steak and frozen pizza, then get a job.

Put me in charge of Medicaid. The first thing I’d do is to get women Norplant birth control implants or tubal ligations. Then, we’ll test recipients for drugs, alcohol, and nicotine and document all tattoos and piercings. If you want to reproduce or use drugs, alcohol, smoke or get tats and piercings, then get a job.

Put me in charge of government housing. Ever live in a military barracks? You will maintain our property in a clean and good state of repair. Your “home” will be subject to inspections anytime and possessions will be inventoried. If you want a plasma TV or Xbox 360, then get a job and your own place.

In addition, you will either present a check stub from a job each week or you will report to a “government” job. It may be cleaning the roadways of trash, painting and repairing public housing, whatever we find for you. We will sell your 22 inch rims and low profile tires and your blasting stereo and speakers and put that money toward the “common good.”

Before you write that I’ve violated someone’s rights, realize that all of the above is voluntary. If you want our money, accept our rules.. Before you say that this would be “demeaning” and ruin their “self-esteem,” consider that it wasn’t that long ago that taking someone else’s money for doing absolutely nothing was demeaning and lowered self-esteem.

If we are expected to pay for other people’s mistakes we should at least attempt to make them learn from their bad choices. The current system rewards them for continuing to make bad choices.

Why do some people like to make other people cry?

Question by me!: Why do some people like to make other people cry?
I was talking online with a guy I know in real life, and this part of the conversation we had. Evidently I said something that he found funny, and he called me a dork. I told him he was mean for calling me that, and he replied that he’s a mean person. I said that I could tell and that I was gonna go cry now. He then told me that was kidding, but that I should go cry anyway “because it makes him feel good to think he made me cry”. I told him that my self-esteem was at a new low thanks to him, and he said that he had now accomplished his life goal. Then he asked if I needed to borrow a gun! I told him he was a terrible person for saying that, and then he offered to load it for me too. The last thing he said before I got off the computer with him was that his life goal “was to destroy my self-esteem.” My half of the conversation, I was joking about most of it, even though the stuff he said did hurt me later. But what kind of person says they love to make you cry, offers to load a gun for you, and says their life goal is to destroy your self-esteem? I think of him as a friend, but it occurred to me that friends don’t usually talk to each other the way he did. Do ya’ll think I’m over-reacting to what he said?

Question by : Why do ignorant girls and typical stupid common males correlate being a nice guy with a doormat?
honestly, just because the stereotypical guy who is successful with girls is a player in every definition of the word, probably a reincarnated version of hîtler, treats girls like objects, spends all day mastûrbating to himself in a gym (a practice which by itself is so completely worthless it’s unbelievable as all the muscle in the world wont save you from a bullet to the brain or provide you any real use in the world besides being a common manual laborer), and probably kicks puppies in his spare time doesnt mean that actually showing respect for women makes you a doormat. If you really “love” yourself you shouldnt need to demean women or bring them down to appear attractive or cultivate false confidence in a gym, if you can really love yourself you should be able to show and recognize true love and appreciate for others.

American women also tend to be just as bad at this. Just because the guy doesnt force you to go out with him right away doesnt mean he isnt interested. Real relationships develop from friendships, not being so man-whôre/player who asks out every girl and places no value on them (the stereotypical/average regards women as a game and object) and just because a guy looks like a knuckle-dragging cro magnon with muscles doesnt mean he’s a fit mate. Same goes for confidence. Ever heard of being humble or having a shred of humility? my bad i’m using logic on american women which are an endless cascade of fallacies, false-entitlement, diffidence, and broken dreams. If you want a real sample of an ideal fighter/guy look at the samurais who were known for humility, not going “hur dur dur check out my stupid physique i cultivated at 5 hour fitness. everybody loves me date me or i’ll just play all your friends or lower your already crippled self-esteem”
